Card Sketch for Just Right

This is a quick card I made for the CPS Sketch. I used Basic Grey PP and some Papertrey Ink stamps. The fibers are from my local scrapbook store. I haven't been doing a lot and I think this is going to help me get back in the groove!! I don't have much in the Just Right lines, and am looking to expand that!!

Thanks for looking

Butterfly MOJO!!

I absolutly love butterflies. I was over the moon when I received my newest Papertrey Ink addition.(That's a whole story in itself.) The butterflies are so cute!!! This is for the color contest on Nicole's blog. I do not have all the exact colors, because I have not purchased them yet, but I'm working on that!! LOL!! Wish I could win that darn lottery!! Well, back to the card, the two big butterflies look like they're flying off the page and I used my black marker to make the little ones match the big ones. I am very proud of this card.

Butterfly Bag

Well, here is my little butterfly bag. I'm not to happy with it, but I don't have the time to do another one.(My daughter was crying the whole time I was trying to get it done.) For this project I used Lauren Meader's All Boxed Up template. She has such wonderful ideas. I would have liked to add a lot more, but my baby girl is sooooo important to me. She is my last of 4 and she is a little princess.(Boy does she know it.LOL)

Thanks for looking!!

Hellooooo! WOW!! I'm so excited for Christmas. Well, once again I haven't been on for awhile. The baby is sooooo time consuming. I am barely getting my presents done. I would have never attempted these, but LAUREN MEADER has come up with such wonderful templates. She has many of them for sale, and they are only $5. You keep them for life. WOW WOW WOW!!! What a deal!! Thank you LAUREN!!

I have copied her design, and used her OSW (ONE SHEET WONDER). It is just AWESOME!! My favorite that I have done is my OWL MAIL set. Since I found www.papertreyink.com I am in love with everything. I can't wait till Christmas. I have posted a few pictures of my favorite set I made. Sorry, but I didn't realize the scratch in my armour until already uploaded. Looks like something hanging off the set, but it's not.

Thank you again Lauren!!!

Whootin Hi!!

Well, it's so hard for me to get things done on this blog. The kids, the work, and the husband. LOL I did find a little time to post this morning. This is a "Whootin Hi" card. Very simple to make. I started with the brown cardstock and trimmed it down to a card size. I then stamped the background on. I used my cricut to cut the rounded square and my xyron machine to attach it. I stamped out my owl and colored him in and used my xyron machine to attach him to the teal rounded square. I attached the ribbon and all done. Simple, fast and easy.

Supplies:

Papertrey ink- Wise owl stamp set

Little yellow Bicycle- Background stamp
Rose Art- Colored Pencils
VersaMark- Ink
Ribbon- My own stash
Xyron Create-a-sticker Machine
Cricut

Spooky

This is one of the first cards I am proud of. I have just started on card making and love it. It is a 6x6 card and it is on a black cardstock to start. I used a spiderweb paper on top of that. I used Making Memories Halloween foam stamps and stamped spooky in clear embossing ink and dusted with Tim Holtz black soot embossing powder on top of an off white cardstock. I inked the edges with black ink and pasted on top of a piece of cardstock that was cut with pinking shears from my sewing basket. I did the same thing with the spider stamp. This was very simple to make.

First Try

Well, I finally did it. I had the chance to set up a blog and I did it. I figured it was around Halloween, so I'm going to use Halloween colors and themes. I was scared, to do this for so long, but now I feel much better. I am mainly trying to get better at my scrapin and cardmaking skills, so this is going to help me. Ta ta!!!
